SAR3-A3

The Suprinium Assault Rifle, Model 3, Version 3. Commissioned by the Celisian Armed Forces to replace the aging CR-13 as their standard issue rifle as part of a modernization effort to maintain viability in an advancing world. Redesigned from the ground up to best serve a soldier's needs, the SAR3A3 follows erognomic design to ease the metaphor that the weapon is an extension of the soldier and reduce the negative effects of long-term actions where a less soldier-friendly design could cause a drop in performance. While it is a bullpup design, the weight distribution is handled by the underbarrel grenade launcher, which can be replaced with a shotgun when necessary, to balance the weight of the rifle while maintaining a small cross-section.
